Snowman Party Games

 

Snowman Roll Up
You will need:  Rolls of toilet paper,  scarves and hats for each team.
Divide guests into teams of 2 or 3.   Each team gets two rolls of toilet paper.   Decide who in the team will be the snowman and who will do the rolling.  

On “go” teams wrap their snowman in the toilet paper.  When the rolls are all used they must put the hat and scarf on their snowman and yell “finished!”. 

The first team to finish wins.   Have enough paper so each guest gets a chance to be the snowman.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Snowman Relay
This is played like an egg and spoon relay only it is played using a "snowball" (cotton ball). 

Set up the area where the kids will be playing the game with a start point and a turn around point at the other end of the area where they have to run around before they can return to the start point.  

 

Divide party guests into two teams and give each team a wooden spoon and a cotton ball.  One by one the teams must place the "snowball" on the spoon and run to the turn around point and back without dropping the "snowball".  When they reach start they hand off the "snowball" to the next player and they run the course. 

 

If the "snowball" falls off the spoon the player must return to start and begin again.  If they touch the snowball with their hands at any time during their run they must return to the start point and begin again.  

 

Variation:   You can also use white ping pong balls for the snowballs. 

 

Snowman Sweep Game
Fun relay style game.   You will need three white ping pong balls and a broom for each team.  Before the game mark the balls with different colors so that the players can tell which ones belong to their team.    Divide guests into teams.  Each team gets a broom and three ping pong balls. One at a time the players from each team must sweep their balls around the playing area and back again.  This game is more challenging and fun when played on a smooth floor. 

 

Pin the Nose on the Snowman
Played just like the Pin the Tail on the Donkey party game.  Instead of a Donkey have the guests pin the nose on the snowman.

Snowman Marshmallow Race
Players use a straw to suck up marshmallows and put them in their cup. Give each guest a straw and a mug.   Place a small bowl of marshmallows in front of each guest.   Set the timer to 2 minutes and on “go” guests use the straw to suck up marshmallows and then move them to their cup.  

 

After the time runs out count how many marshmallows are in each cup and the player with the most wins!   After the game fill the mugs with hot chocolate so everyone gets a warm treat! 

 

 

 

 

Snowman Party Activities

Snowman Scavenger Hunt
Have the party guests go on a Scavenger Hunt throughout the neighborhood and find blue and white items.   Or collect the items needed to build a snowman - hat, scarf, 3 different buttons, carrot, broom, sticks, etc.
